Indians

Many peoples in America and Latina misleadingly also called nations or tribes.

Their leaders have been simple chiefs living in the mid of their camps or pueblos, they had no seperate first or governing class = nation.

Each indian people may have consisted of many families, clans and tribes, but the bigger more important community was the people.

Also we should better speak of Indian battles instead of wars. Nations with their states are used to organise and commit war against each other, not so the Indians. The purpose of the Indian fights was mostly the defense or revenge.

Also they did not posess their lands like Britains, Europeans, Romans and Americans, so they used the land but had not much interest to conquer and or colonize the land of others at least as there was plenty and enough of good land for all.
